Carnival fever hits London this weekend
With the UK August Bank Holiday looming it’s nearly time for this year’s eagerly awaited Notting Hill Carnival. Every year since 1960s the carnival has took place in the streets of West London to celebrate Caribbean tradition and culture.
As always the Notting Hill Carnival will take place on the last weekend of August on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August. Expect vibrant coloured costumes, blaring music and tasty traditional Caribbean food if you are in attendance.
Ensure you join over 1 million carnival revelers for Europe’s biggest street festival either on the Sunday or Monday.
