Fourth of July in Boston

With the famous Boston Pops performing on the Charles River for the past 70 plus years, Boston is the place to be this Fourth of July. With over 10,000 fireworks going off during the show, and a flyover by F16s, this celebration is certainly popping. The official website suggests that visitors stay at The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel for close proximity to the festivities.

My Prairie Home Companion

Garrison Keillor, here I come. I'm off to Minnesota tomorrow, home of public radio's, and now Robert Altman's, beloved "A Prairie Home Companion." I don't know how well my Texan ways will fare "up there," but I bet I'll be a lot cooler (in more ways than one) than you schmucks stuck in this Dallas heat. Yeeeeehaw!

Guests who stay at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino may never visit the Eiffel Tower in France, but they can certainly see the next best thing in Las Vegas. Many of the guests who choose to stay at Paris Las Vegas have no idea what to expect upon arriving to the property but the hotel and casino far meet the expectations of the guests who stay there.

"The Break-Up"

Seems to be a "break-up" trend. First Penelope Cruz and Matthew McConaughey split, and then the opening weekend of Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn's debut movie together "The Break-Up." Let's just hope their Chicago escapades get as much attention as someone else's Namibia arrival did.
