You Didn’t Know This, But It’s Airport Hotel Appreciation Day

I’m particularly fond of airport hotels, seeing as how they represent all that remains of stability, sanity and hospitality in the insane world of air travel.  So, in conjunction with the debut of hotelbook.com’s Airport Hotel Collection, I’d like to briefly recognize all airport hotels (large and small) for all the good they do in the world.

I’m sure you know the feeling—the one that feels a lot like you’ve been trapped in an airport for 10 hours—probably because you’ve been trapped in an airport for 10 hours?  It’s usually accompanied by the hallucination where a sparkling white airport hotel shuttle rescues you from the madness, whisking you off to a not-so faraway land of slumber, a shower and solitude.   It’s a land where breakfast magically serves itself, parking abounds, and WiFi roams free!

We all know the feeling, and believe it or not, we at hotelbook have been to this dreamland of yours.   It’s real, and I can assure you that it’s everything you imagined it to be as you drifted in and out of consciousness while sprawled across a makeshift recliner comprised of a worn leather airport chair, your carry-on luggage, and a stranger's jacket.

If you need a place to land and recuperate after a particularly grueling flight, or if you’re seeking refuge during a long delay, any one of these convenient airport hotels should do the trick.   We hand picked them; because they all feature low hotelbook rates along with services and amenities that mean the world to weary airport travelers (be sure to check each hotel’s details, as services vary).  Best of all, these hotels aren't far from the terminal, just in case your flight leaves on time for once.  But that really is a dream.
