The city of Munich in Germany hosts one of the oldest Christmas Markets in Europe, with records of the "Nicholas Market" dating back to the 14th century.
In 2009 the Christmas Market is running between the 27th November and 24th December, so you still have time to visit and find the perfect Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
